Today Addy had her very first dentist appointment. The hygienist got her in the chair and showed her how it went up and down. She also put on her "bib", showed her the squirter/air tool (even spraying the wall!), the spit sucker, the tooth brush tool and mirror. Addy seemed pretty calm while waiting. Our dentist came in and she told Addy what she was going to do. However, she was never able to get Addy to lay back and she didn't want me to sit with her. She counted her teeth, she has 20, she then brushed her teeth, rinsed and sucked and then checked them over again! She did soooo good and I was so proud of her! Our dentist did note that she is grinding her teeth a little in the bottom front. Nothing major and it doesn't look like it's all the time.
When she was all done she got a new arial tooth brush, tooth paste, floss, and a sticker! She really enjoyed going to the dentist! Good job Addy Grace! You are such a big girl!!!
Oh and yesturday evening she finally rode her bike down the side walk near our drive way! After a few times back and forth, she told me she wanted to do it by herself and she got it!!
