Zoo & Beach

Yesturday Addy and I met up with my friend Allison and her three daughters.  Her twins were born 1 week after Addy so we try to get the girls together when we can!  We were there almost 3 hours and the girls had so much fun!  It was a pretty hot day too so we were impressed with their endurance!  Addy was pretty excited that she got to see a chicken there!  She thought he was pretty funny!!

Then today we met up with some other friends and played at the beach!  My friend Kathryn and her son Jack, Kristi and her 2 boys, Marco and Nicco, Alicia and Derek came too!  (sister and her boyfriend)  Today the weather was perfect!  It was 78 and sunny but not terribly hot or humid.  Addy took some time getting used to the beach and the kids but once she was, oh boy did she have a blast!!  The beach we went to was perfect for kids.  We were close to the water which was perfect for playing in the sand and for running in and out!  The water only went up to their waists too!  Addy never left the shore but she did sit and kick a lot!  She loved running around and playing in the sand.  At one point she worked on collecting rocks and made a track out of it!  It was cute!

I will say the one nice thing about Erie is our beaches!  Its such a great place to have in your town to go to in the summers! 

I hope everyone is making good use of their summer!  I know we are!
