Saturday before Easter we hung out at my Nana's house to get some extra visits in with my Aunts that live out of town. Boy am I glad we did too because Camden came down with some virus Easter morning and our visits that day were short. We even went to urgent care that morning to rule out strep or ear infection.
Anyways, we made cookies at Nana's, decorated them and made my Aunt's famous bunny cake ! We ended up ordering pizza and staying till 8:30pm! The kids had fun and we super good!
Easter morning at home. Addy helped Camden find his basket since he really wasn't in the mood but once he saw the basket he perked up a little!
All ready for our day! It actually snowed a bit but eventually the snow/rain mix stopped and it turned out to be an ok day!

Papa announced after we were done eating breakfast that he thought he saw a bunny hopping away out front. That got Addy super excited and ready for the egg hunt!

Camden missed out the egg hunt because he fell asleep. He needed the rest! His temp rose a little while we were there and we decided to head home. We were to meet my dad, Uncles and little sister at the Maennechor club for Easter dinner at 4 pm. We weren't sure about Camden going but we wanted to see how he felt after being home a little and with more medicine. Sure enough he perked up and was able to make dinner which I was happy because he ate a ton of ham! We enjoyed our visit with everyone and it was nice catching up with them since we don't really see them that much.
Even though our Easter wasn't exactly what I hoped for because Camden wasn't feeling good, we still had a nice time and made the best of our day! After all it's not about us as much as it is that He is Risen! God Bless and Love,
