Happy 11 Months Addyson Grace!
Wow Addyson where do I begin!??!! You have really grown into the toddler look over the past couple of weeks! Daddy and I always make comments on how you look older each day! We can't believe how fast you have grown! When you were first born so many people told us how fast you would grow and they were right! Even though you are getting bigger and your not a teeny tiny baby, I must say that I love this time with you too. You are exploring everything and pointing to things so we can tell you what they are! You also have been waving a ton more too and the right way! You have been pulling yourself up into standing positions using the table, mommy or daddy, and your musical table! You move your legs up and down more too when we practice walking!
You have been responding to more receptive things too! If I ask you where your baby is you look for her and you get her! You look for things when you drop them too. If you hear daddy talking in the other room, you look for him by turning your head to see him, or look around me and go to him!
You love the phone and all the gadgets in the house! Most of the time you are trying to get to our stuff instead of playing with your toys but that is okay! You want to know what they are and they look different from the things you are playing with! You do play with your toys very well though and independently! Although you get really excited when mommy or daddy sit and play with you too! When I lay down on the floor you attack my head! You try to cuddle with me by laying your head on my head! It makes me laugh hard everytime! That and you try to give me and daddy kisses while we are on the floor!
Goodness what else have you been up too? Oh you have 3 teeth now and the other top front one is on its way! You look so cute when you smile and there are those cute toofers in there! You are officially off the bottle too and you only drink milk at home! You have about one more week at daycare and then you will just drink milk there too! We tried juicy juice with you (watered down) and you love it! Your teachers are very pleased with how well you eat and drink too!
Some new foods that you have been trying are:
pizza-liked it
hamburger-loved it
manderin oranges-don't like but that is okay since you love a ton of fruit and its okay if I puree it in with other fruits
chicken salad
jelly sandwiches-you like them but not all the time
chicken nuggets-like them
mac n cheese with any veggie mixed it- love it
fried rice-love it
pot roast with carrots and potatoes- love it
chicken noodle soup for kids (lower sodium) love it!
you basically eat whatever we eat so we don't have many food issues with you!
You sleep well when your mouth isn't bothering you! You also are still taking an am and pm nap. sometimes they are short and sometimes they are long!

You are starting to wear size 4 shoes! You also are still in the 18-24 month range for clothes. some are big but I just roll the sleeves or hike up your pants! lol. You will most likely be in this size for awhile now!
Mommy and daddy have been busy planning your big birthday party too! We got you all of your presents already and some of your decorations! We also have someone lined up to do your cake too! She makes the most amazing frosting and I can't wait to have some! hehehe!! You also have most of your outfit for your big party too! I ordered your tights and I need to get you a bib still for when you dig into your cake!
We love you so much Addyson and we love watching you grow and explore! You are so curious and have such a great personality! You really are a happy go lucky baby! My next post will be a bittersweet one for us. You will officially be a toddler and a one year old! I can't believe how fast its all going :(
