We finally had Cam's 6 month check up yesterday! He is doing really well developmentally and he is a growing boy! At birth he was 7.5 ounces and 19 inches long
6 months: 17.3 pounds (40th %ile), 26.5 inches long (40th %ile)and his head is 44 cm round (62%ile) He's pretty average overall with the exception of his head but that's ok!
The doctor could see that he is a very happy baby with the exception of when he got his shots. He cries so hard when he get's those. It breaks my heart every time. He did cry a little when she was examining him though. He has waves of stranger anxiety right now which is normal.
She was happy that he was rolling around and that he is starting to sit up more. Another milestone to watch for now is him transferring an object from one hand to another. Right now everything he touches goes right to his mouth though! Speaking of teeth, she couldn't see or feel anything poking through yet.
Dr. was happy with how much he is eating now. 3 meals a day and 4 bottles a day at 6 ounces each since he is eating more now.
It was a great appointment and we go back at 9 months!
I managed to get Addy weighed too and she is now at 38 pounds! she is finally over the 35 mark! hahaha! she is also 3'6'' too!
