Camden John 9 Months

Wow 9 months. You are just as old as your were when you were in my belly!  9 in-9out!  

I think I say this a lot but this picture captures it all!  You are so happy!!  

You get so excited when someone smiles at you that you are familiar with and once you warm up to someone you are equally as happy! 

You get around pretty well now.  There is really no stopping you at this point!  You have been pulling yourself up to standing position to while using the couch, your music table or the toy box.  You get wobbly and sometimes you fall down.  Hence the lack in standing pictures right now.  Two hands need to be ready to catch you!  

You love random objects and you have recently discovered that they make noise when you tap them either against each other or on something. You love tapping and it keeps you pretty content for awhile!  

You also have a crazy obsession with belts right now!  You pull daddy's off his wardrobe wrack and chew on them or you drag them around.  You do not prefer conventional teething rings!

Speaking of teething.  Nothing. Nada. Not one tooth yet!  

You are now in size 4 diapers and wear all 9 month clothing. Some of your stuff is 6-12 months and they fit you just as good!  You are growing so much everyday!  

You say momma and dadda.  Sometimes on demand or while your chewing.  

You have been trying "T" sounds and doing a lot of raspberries. 

You've discovered to put your fist near your mouth and rubbing it along your lips to make a good sound too. 

You coo and babble all the time while you play.

Playing:

You sit and play very well for a good 15 minutes. Sometimes more when Addy is playing near or with you.  You let us know when you want a new activity by fussing a little.  You still go in your jumping gym at times but that only get's us so far! 

Last weekend your Aunt came up with her family.  We had a great time with them and you all played so well together!

You feed yourself so well.  You love puffs, crunchies, yogurt melts, cheerios, and pretty much any food we give you.  You still eat 7 ounces a feeding (4x's a day) with one 4 ounce snack after school.

Sleep

Hmmm you sleep pretty good but you wake up a little too early these days.  It's not so bad during the work week but on the weekends it's not so great!  However, I enjoy the quiet mornings of just you and me.  I had that with your sister and she got a lot of my attention when she was a baby because she was the only one.  So I cherish the little moments we have before she wakes up for the day.  

I cannot wait to see what you do next and what new skills you develop!
