Happy 17 months Addyson Grace!

Wow! Where do I start!!! How about that face!?! You have personality written all over you little face and you definitely aren't afraid to show it!

Today you figured out how to officially open a door without getting mad at yourself and you keep turning on the oven. Big no no! I tried to take the knob off the oven but it won't let me so I think I have no choice but to gate off the kitchen for awhile. You aren't responding well to 'no' when we tell you either. Actually you responding to 'no' has actually been on hold for right now! You like to do what you do and you don't let anyone stop you! This is all being a apart of a growing toddler!

You finally love playing outside and running around in the grass. It took you awhile after you started walking to get familiar and comfortable with the grass. I put you in your sneakers for awhile and that seemed to help you out. Then we would practice running around barefoot in the grass at home. You saw us do it and then soon followed! Now you play at school, in the grass, and wear any shoes!

Your teachers at daycare are blown away by you everyday! They love you so much there! You work on colors, shapes and counting. You love to do your artwork and you love to color at home! You enjoy all of your books and love to run around here!

Talking. You never stop and we love it! You are starting to try and put 2 worded sentences together. You said "bye mama" the other day! :) You have added so many words to your vocabulary that I don't even know which ones you've added! last month I wanna say that you were around 22 words and now you are at least around 30-35! If we ask you "who's cute?" you say "ME!" and you point to yourself!!! If you want something now, you point to it and say, "see?". You also do this and say "me" when you want something that is yours, like your binkie.

You like to sing dora's theme song with daddy! Its really cute! One morning I brought you into our bed and daddy was still sleeping. You leaned over to him and started singing the dora song to him! I laughed and smile so big. You love him very much!

You and daddy also had a big outing just the two of you the other day and you had so much fun! You went down to his office, where you fell alseep on the way down, and then you went to visit baby Riley! You guys were gone for 3 hours and I was getting anxious to see you guys!! You loved your time with him and you guys had so much fun!

You are getting taller but staying a little skinny! Your feet are bigger now too. size 5 and your clothes are still about 18-24 months. Some bottoms are too big on you and they are 18 months! Tiny waist!

Addyson you are an amazing little girl and we love you so much. You have given us so much joy and laughter in our lives. We love watching you learn and grow too! We are excited to move into our new house in a few weeks and to visit with your Great grandparents! You also were so lucky to have spent time with your beloved Great Grandma Lopatynski too. She went to Heaven recently and she loved you so much. You would speak to you in Polish and you would just give her this look, like "huh?"!! You also played with your dolls with her and she was here for your very first birthday! You loved her and she loved you! She will be greatly missed.

We love you Addyson Grace and we can't see what you do in the next month!
