Swim lessons

This morning Addyson had some fun playing with her foam letters in her new monkey pj's!  This little girl has grown like a weed and most of her pj's from last year are too short. (all of her footie jammies) So she was super excited to get these ones the other day!

Today we went swim lessons.  We sing the wheels on the bus with everyone and ring around the rosie, swim lesson style!  It's really cute!  Today we worked on:

*kicking while on tummy

*kicking while on back

*pulling and reaching with arms.  We throw a toy and they try to get it.

*a sit dive

*pushing off the side with feet while on back

*jumping off the side of the pool without going under water.

All with the help of mommy's and daddy's!

Barb is a pretty awesome teacher.  She is so good with the kiddos and even us parents!  She makes it look so easy.  She always goes around to each parent and practices stuff with each child after each thing taught. 

She also asked me how old Addy was.  I told her 2.5 years.  She remembered me telling her last week that she goes to school there and she said that she is pretty mature for her age.  She suggested her coming to the February/March session with her peers even though she turns 3 at the end of that session!  She can tell that she will do well and that she is more than ready!  Yay!!! 2nd class in and she is an A+ student!

After swimming, Kristy, Riley, Addy & I went to Panera for some lunch.  The kids were cute and ate  a great lunch!  We then came home and did some laundry and cleaning while Justin finished up at his golf tournament.

Tomorrow is more fall clean up outside!
