Before the basement flooding and after there have been some fun and good things going on in our home!
Camden is officially a walker! He has been going strong for about a week now and he is loving every second of it! He has been obsessed with wearing stuff around his neck ( with supervision). Last week were Addy's swim goggles and this week her Doc McStuffins stethoscope! He makes me happy. He really does.
Addy was invited to a Tiaras and Princess party and it was very awesome! A company out of Ohio does it and they did an amazing job! The girls wore dresses, gloves, necklaces, their own shoes, they did their makeup, and they were deemed princesses! The boys were Knights and they were all decked out as well!
Being a princess is hard work. Addy had quite the appetite while her friend opened her presents! She sat nicely, watched and ate! These moment's of her makes some of the tough almost 5 year old behaviors manageable!
This was the day after our flood clean up. A whole lot of recooping, playing, being silly, and just not having any other care in the world. This was what mattered. Nothing else. Our basement can just be a basement.....for a little bit! (yes that is Justin getting slammed by Camden!)
Thanks to Pinterest and Blogs out there, I made these cute little Valentine's for Camden's nursery room! They turned out super cute and I was very happy with how they turned out! They were Go Go Squeeze apple apple. I made the labels using Word and they say "Valentine, your my main squeeze". I used my scrap booking scissors to create the edge on the outer circle, glued and drew a heart on the back and sign his name! Perfect for 1-2 year olds!
Addy worked hard on her Frozen valentines. She had more than enough for her room so she had extra fun just making up other ones! They came with Frozen stickers and then we paired them with other valentines that were a big gummy life saver. We taped those on last to each of the Frozen ones.
Camden has a new love for Addy's Dora couch! He thinks its the coolest thing. He watches a little TV with it (mostly Olympics) Here he was checking out his new medicine. He had a little reaction to his MMR vaccine and had to get put on Zyrtec to help with his rash.
This picture speaks for itself. He is up and moving and he loves to take things out of stuff. Sometimes he likes to put things back in but in this situation.....no. He grabbed a snack he wanted and left! ha! His cuteness bought him a free pass though on the clean up!
So there you have it. A little catch up of the good and fun in our life. It's these things that makes us very thankful and not dwell to much on what we couldn't control.
Love,
Jamie Lynne
