You are 2 years old today! Where did the time go? People always say it goes by fast but you never really understand it until your actually going through it! You have really grown up since last year. You are talking so much now and asking all kinds of questions. You sing to us and tell us stories about your day! You love talking about your friends and tell us their last names because that is what your learning about now! You also look through books and read us the story by looking at the pictures!
Today I relived each hour until you were born. I remembered what daddy and I were doing at the hospital, the conversations with the nurses, going into the O.R. and waiting for daddy to join me. Hearing your first cry. Seeing you for the first time. Holding you and loving you so much!
Daddy and I have been amazed by you since you first came into our lives and we cherish all of those moments with you. You love to wrestle with daddy and jump on him! You are fearless on the couch and love to belly flop onto it! You stack pillows on our bed too and jump on those with so much laughter and many smiles!
You enjoy watching Dora, Diego and Bubble guppies. There are some other shows that you like in the morning with daddy while you both are getting ready for school and work, but that is between the two of you!
You love learning and exploring. You ask many questions about "what's that?" "who's that" "where?" and today you asked your first "how" question! You learn things so naturally and with so much interest!
We love you so much and can't wait to trully celebrate your birthday this Saturday with family and friends. Not everyone can be here though but that is ok. We know they love you so much and would love to be here with you but they can't. You have many of daddy's family and some of mommy's that just live very far away! In an ideal world we all would be together!
I can't wait to see what you do and learn in the next year! You are a blessing from God and we love you! Happy Birthday sweet Addyson Grace.
Love
Mommy and Daddy!
