Easter!

We had a very nice Easter this year! My mom had dinner at her house Saturday night instead of my Nana Lyle having it at her place. It was planned for later due to my sister and Dan not being able to get into town until about 6-630PM.

As soon as we got there my Aunt Chris showed us some of the awesome toys they brought for Addy to have! They gave her a really nice Dora Dollhouse with all the little fixings for it too! She got a cute Animal Hospital that requires you to match the colored keys to the matching doors. Once you open it up, there is a cute little animal inside! Addy had a ton of fun with that today! Its helping her learn her colors a little more too and matching! (she knows a lot but colors still is a little on the fuzzy side!) She also got 2 really cute dora dolls that sing and do other fun things. A dora purse and a care bear hopscotch! Then they got her a dora guitar for her birthday! Lets just say that she got the serious dora hook up! My cousin Annie was really into dora too!

So needless to say, we had a nice evening at my mom's house. Got home a little later but it was a good time! Then Easter Sunday we just hung out just the 3 of us and helped Addy find her Easter Basket! She had so much fun finding it and talking about the Easter Bunny! She got some new PJ's, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, coloring books, water paint book, twistable crayons, new headbands and sour patch kids shaped like bunnies!

We then got ready and met my dad's side of the family at the Manechor Club for a nice brunch. Then we went to Nana Huntley's house for an egg hunt and dessert! Addy had fun with the egg hunt and really liked the money that was inside of them! She also discovered jelly beans and all the fun sugary treats that come with Easter! She was a little too young still to get all of that last year. It was neat to see the difference between this year and last year. Addy also dug in and ate a good sized piece of Nana's famous peanut butter pie! She loved it! Before we went to Nana Huntley's I took Justin home to get his car because I was planning on going back down to my Nana Lyles house to see everyone that was still in town.

So I then take Addy and myself down to my nana's house. My two aunts were still there along with my great aunt and grandparents. We hung out, Addy got some gifts and an Easter Basket. Papa also "hid" some eggs in the front yard for her to go and find. So we did that too. My cousin Sarah helped her find them too! It was really sweet!

Then my Uncle Al came back from visiting his family with his kiddos, Abbey and Annie. Addy got so excited! She loves playing with them and had so much fun the night before with them. They played with her dora stuff and they ran around together. They showed Addy their new stuff too! We left there a little later than I had intended but it was so worth it!

All in all it was a great Easter this year. It wasn't the warmest but the rain pretty much held off which was nice. I hope everyone had a great Easter!
