Hello 14 weeks and second trimester!

Hungry much? Now that you’re not feeling so queasy, you’re probably enjoying eating. A lot. Plus, you’re fueling baby’s growth -- which is happening at super speed at 14 weeks. Be sure to keep plenty of healthy snacks by your side just in case you get the munchies. It’s important -- for you and for baby -- that you don’t indulge in too many greasy, fatty foods, so you’re both getting the right nutrients. (Of course, the occasional bowl of ice cream is totally okay.) And we just wanted to remind you: eating for two doesn’t mean doubling your calorie intake. Not only have you gotten your appetite back at week 14, but you’ve probably also gotten some of your energy back, too. If you found yourself shying away from exercise during trimester one, it’s time to get back on track. Go take a walk!
your baby's the size of a lemon!
At week 14, your baby is 3.4 inches and 1.5 ounces, he's almost doubled in weight since last week and keeps on growing.

The start of the second trimester has treated me well!  I have more energy in the morning, I get things done around the house and I have more time to play with Addy!  I also had enough energy to help my sister prepare for her bundle of joy over the weekend too!  Addy and I went down to Pittsburgh Friday and stayed through Sunday.  We met up with my Aunt Val on Saturday at the mall and got lunch.  We then all headed to some stores and got the baby some stuff with exchanges that she needed to do.  Addyson was amazingly good and she wasn't even in a stroller!

After the mall and Michaels we headed back to Kristin's house.  We then started going through the baby's clothes and started getting tags off everything.  Which believe it or not took about an hour!  It's crazy how they tag things now a days!  We got laundry started, Kristin started getting dinner going and I started creating the letters with ribbon for the babies wall. (her name) We worked our pregnant butts off that night and we got everything washed and put away!  Her room is really cute and very tidy!  Addy loved having free rane to all the stuff to. It was like a real life playhouse for her and her baby doll. There were a couple times when we had to tell her no to something but she did pretty good considering she really could have torn in to that nursery!

The next morning we worked on hanging the letters and measuring everything out.  We also created a little list of last minute things Kristin will need to get before baby comes.  I still cannot believe her due date is getting closer and closer!  She also feels and so do many others, that she will probably have her before Sept 7th though. She did have some preterm labor last week and has just been feeling off.  Stay put at least another 2weeks little one!  Then you will be full term!

It was a great sister bonding time and we had a great time down there!  We were also ready to come home.  Addy was starting to miss Justin too.  He wasn't even home when we got home.  He was at the Bridgestone Invitational in Akron with his buddies.  He managed to see Tiger Woods a bagillion times and was even on TV quite a bit too!  He wore his really bright yellow nike shirt to the tournement and you could see him on ESPN highlights! Pretty cool! But as soon as they pulled into the driveway, Addy couldn't contain herself anymore, she had to see him!  It was really cute!  We talked to the guys for a minute and they lucked out with the weather!  There was a little bit of rain when they got there!

Well time to get ready and head out.  Addy and I are headed to the Mall and to Wegmans!

Love
Jamie Lynne
