Papa is opening his eyes!!!! All day yesturday he was opening his eyes but he hasn't fully come to just yet but he is almost there! Coming out of that anestetic is tricky too and considering he was in surgery for 11 hours its going to take awhile. I am going back down on saturday because I have been trying to take care of me and the baby. I really hope he is more awake by then and the breathing tube can come out! The nurses said he is breathing on his own with the tube and that is a good sign too! He responds to people touching his feet now too. He wiggles his foot like "stop tickling them!". They won't take the breathing tube out until he is fully coherent and passes a few tests. They also started dialysis yesturday to help his kidneys function properly and if it fixes the problem he can come off of it. Well there really isn't much to update you on because nothing crazy happened yesturday which is a good thing! We are just so happy that he is starting to wake up! Its up to him now!
